About me

I have been working in the field of additional language teaching since 1998. I hold an MA in Curriculum and Instruction and an MEd in TESL/TEFL, both from Simon Fraser University. Currently, I am pursuing a doctoral degree in the Languages, Cultures, and Literacies (LCL) program at SFU, under the supervision of Dr. Roumiana Ilieva. I identify as a language teacher educator and am a faculty member at Douglas College, where I teach English for Academic Purposes (ELLA) and TESL courses. I also teach in the TESL program at the University of the Fraser Valley.
